Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M40 is slightly better than Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G, with a global score of 85 against 80.8. Although Samsung Galaxy M40 is older than Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G, it's design is somewhat thinner and lighter. These phones come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy M40 has older 10 version and Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G has Android 11 version.
Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G features a CPU that's just as good as the Galaxy M40 one, and although the Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G has lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G has a display that's very similar to the display in Galaxy M40, because although the Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G has a little bit lower pixels density, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little bigger screen.
Galaxy M40 features a way bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that admits a maximum of 512 GB. Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G captures clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for shooting pictures or video in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G also counts with a back facing camera with lot more megapixels and a way larger camera sensor which provides a lot higher photo and video quality.
Xiaomi POCO M3 Pro 5G counts with a really longer battery life than Galaxy M40, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
