Comparison review
Galaxy M40 is much better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, getting a general score of 85 against 75.7. Both of these phones come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy M40 has the older 10 version and Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro has Android 12 version. Galaxy M40's construction has the same thickness than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, but it's somewhat lighter.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy M40, because although it has a little worse number of pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a bit bigger screen and a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2400. Galaxy M40 features a much better memory capacity for apps and games than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Galaxy M40 also has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy M40 features a much faster CPU than Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro. They have the same RAM amount and the same number of cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro captures just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low light captures and video, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro also counts with a much more MP back camera and a much larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro counts with a really longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.
