Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M40 is a little bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, having a general score of 85 against 81.1. Both of these phones use the same Android 10 OS (Operating System), so both of them should give the same OS features. Samsung Galaxy M40 is an older device than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, but it's somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter anyway.
Galaxy M40 features a little bit better looking display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little bit higher screen density. The Samsung Galaxy M40 has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, and although they both have a SD extension slot that allows up to 512 GB, the Samsung Galaxy M40 also has 64 GB more internal memory.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy M40. Both of them have 6 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a very superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro takes much better videos and photos than Galaxy M40, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs and/or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution and a lot larger sensor taking lot better quality videos and photos.
