Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy M40 is a bit better than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, with an 85 score against 79. The Samsung Galaxy M40 body is somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, although it was released about 10 months before. Both of these devices have Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy M40 has older 10 version while Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has Android 11 version.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 has a bit sharper screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, because although it has a little smaller screen and a quite lower 1080 x 2340 resolution, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the screen. The Galaxy M40 counts with a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S, and although they both have an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB, the Galaxy M40 also has more internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features a little better hardware performance than Galaxy M40, although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S takes clearer photos and videos than Galaxy M40, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low-light images, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video resolution, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also counts with a back camera with a much better resolution and a way larger back-facing camera sensor shooting lot higher quality photos.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a very superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy M40, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity against 3500mAh.
