Samsung Galaxy J7 Star is much better than Galaxy Nexus, having a general score of 73.1 against 64.3. These phones work with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy J7 Star has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy Nexus has Android 4.3 version, so it provides a couple nice extra features. Although Samsung Galaxy J7 Star is much heavier than Galaxy Nexus, it's just a little bit thinner and much newer.
Galaxy Nexus counts with a brighter screen than Galaxy J7 Star, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1280 x 720, the Galaxy Nexus also counts with a just a bit better count of pixels per inch in the display. The Samsung Galaxy J7 Star has a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Nexus, because it has 16 GB more internal memory and a SD extension slot that allows up to 400 GB.
Samsung Galaxy J7 Star features a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Nexus, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM memory and more cpu cores. Galaxy J7 Star features a very superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy Nexus, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 1750mAh.
The Galaxy J7 Star takes much better videos and photos than Galaxy Nexus, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Galaxy J7 Star also has a lot larger aperture for better captures and video in low light environments and a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 Star is a little more expensive than Galaxy Nexus, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
