The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is much better than the Motorola Moto G8, getting a 11.76 score against 9.34. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has the newer 11 version and Motorola Moto G8 has Android 10 version. Although Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and the Motorola Moto G8 were released with only a couple of months difference, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra body is just a little heavier but also just a little bit thinner.

The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra counts with a bit faster processing unit than Moto G8, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra also has a higher amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra counts with a much better display than Moto G8, because it has a lot higher quantity of pixels per display inch, a quite larger display and a way better 1440 x 3088 resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra counts with much more memory capacity to store more games and applications than Moto G8, because it has a SD memory card expansion slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB and 128 GB internal storage. The Motorola Moto G8 has just a bit better battery duration than Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, although it has an 11 percent smaller battery capacity.

Galaxy Note 20 Ultra has a much better camera than Moto G8, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for shooting photos and videos in low light environments, it also counts with a much higher video quality and a back camera with a much better resolution.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Moto G8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Moto G8. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Moto G8, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
