Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is slightly better than the Galaxy S5 Plus, with a score of 80.7 against 78.1. Both phones we compare here come with Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a newer 5.0 version while Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2 version, giving you lots of additional features. Although Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is better than Galaxy S5 Plus, it must be told that it is also older, heavier and a bit thicker.
Galaxy S5 Plus features a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, although it has less cpu cores , a worse graphics processor working at 500 megahertz and a smaller amount of RAM. Galaxy S5 Plus features a bit more vivid display than Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1920 x 1080, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch.
Galaxy Note 3 counts with much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory capacity. Galaxy S5 Plus captures a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have a F2.2 diafragm aperture, the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Galaxy S5 Plus also has a camera in the back with a higher resolution and a bigger back camera sensor capturing better quality videos and pictures.
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 3200mAh battery capacity against 2800mAh.
Even being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, the Galaxy Note 3 is also cheaper, which makes it a simple decision.
