Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is slightly better than LG G3, having a general score of 81.1 against 76.4. Both devices we are comparing here have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has the previous 4.4.2 version and LG G3 has Android 5.0. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 body is somewhat heavier but just a bit thinner than the LG G3, and both were released only 9 months apart.

The LG G3 counts with a little faster CPU than Galaxy Note 3. Both of them have 4 CPU cores, a 3 GB RAM memory and a 450 megahertz GPU. The LG G3 counts with a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher pixel count per inch of screen and a better 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a bigger storage to store more games and applications than LG G3, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Note 3 features just a little bit longer battery performance than LG G3, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 takes a bit better photographs and videos than LG G3, and although they both have a 13 mega pixels resolution camera, the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same back camera sensor size, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also has a larger diafragm aperture to take better low light photos and videos.

Although Galaxy Note 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than LG G3, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G3. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get the LG G3, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your money.
