Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy M30 is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, with a global score of 82.4 against 81.6. Both phones in this review work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy M30 has a newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has Android 5.0, so it offers a couple additional features and increased performance. The Samsung Galaxy M30 construction has the same thickness than the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, but it is a little bit lighter.

Galaxy Note 4 has just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy M30, because although it has 3 GB less RAM memory and less processing cores (although faster), it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. Galaxy Note 4 counts with a sharper display than Galaxy M30, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with more pixels per inch in the display and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440px.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 takes just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy M30, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for taking photos or video in poorly lited situations, it also counts with a back-facing camera with a better resolution, a much higher (4K) video quality and a bigger back camera sensor shooting better quality photographs and videos.

The Galaxy M30 features a way bigger memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory. The Galaxy M30 counts with a much longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because it has a 55% larger battery size.
