Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a general score of 81.7, which is just a bit better than Galaxy Note 3's 81.1 global score. Both phones we compare here have the same Android 5.0 OS, so both should provide the user identical OS features. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is a just a bit heavier device than the Galaxy Note 3, but they have the same thickness.

Galaxy Note Edge features a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and a greater pixel density. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge features a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have a 3 GB RAM and the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge also has a faster 500 megahertz graphics processor.

The Galaxy Note 3 has a quite bigger memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a slot for external memory cards that allows 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Note 3 features a bit better battery life than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 7 percent larger battery size.

The Galaxy Note Edge takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note 3, and although they both have a same size aperture, the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Galaxy Note Edge also has a bigger back camera sensor shooting higher quality photos and videos and a camera with a better 16 megapixels resolution.

Although Galaxy Note Edge is a better device, it is a little more expensive than the Galaxy Note 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy Note 3. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy Galaxy Note 3, and give up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
