Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy M31 is just a bit better than Galaxy Note Edge, with a global score of 86.5 against 81.7. Although Samsung Galaxy M31 is newer than the Galaxy Note Edge, it is just a little bit heavier and a bit thicker. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy M31 has the newer 11 version while Galaxy Note Edge has Android 5.0 version, so it provides a couple nice extra features.
Galaxy Note Edge features just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy M31, because although it has 3 GB lesser RAM memory and 4 less cores , it also counts with an extra graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has a sharper display than Galaxy M31, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440px resolution and a higher screen density.
The Samsung Galaxy M31 counts with a way bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a SD extension slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Galaxy M31 captures way better photographs and videos than Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Galaxy M31 also has a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels, a much bigger camera sensor providing a way higher image quality and a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photos in low light environments.
Galaxy M31 has a much longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3000mAh.
