Samsung Galaxy Note9's design is way newer, but a little thicker and somewhat heavier than the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with a little better performance than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a higher number of faster cores and a greater amount of RAM.
