Galaxy Note Edge is a little bit better than Sony Xperia XZ2, having a score of 81.7 against 79.1. Galaxy Note Edge's construction is lighter and noticeably thinner than Sony Xperia XZ2, despite of the fact that it was released 4 years before. Galaxy Note Edge counts with a bit sharper screen than Xperia XZ2, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite better display pixel density and a higher 2560 x 1440px resolution.

The Xperia XZ2 has a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has 64 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 400 GB. Xperia XZ2's processing unit is very similar to Galaxy Note Edge's processing unit, because although the Xperia XZ2 has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher number of cores and a greater amount of RAM memory.

Sony Xperia XZ2 shoots a little bit better photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, the Sony Xperia XZ2 also has a larger sensor capturing better quality pictures, higher 60 fps video frame rate, a larger diafragm aperture to capture better images and videos in poorly lited situations and a more megapixels back-facing camera.

The Xperia XZ2 counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 6% greater battery size.
