Galaxy Note Fan Edition has an overall score of 80.4, which is slightly better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2)'s general score of 77.4. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition is an older phone than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), but Samsung managed to build it a bit lighter and just a bit thinner anyway. The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with just a bit better looking display than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2), because although it has a little smaller display, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2560 resolution and more pixels per display inch.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a CPU that's just as good as Galaxy Note Fan Edition's processing unit, and although the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a greater amount of RAM, they both have 8 CPU cores. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features much more memory for games and applications than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has a SD memory slot that holds up to 1,95 TB and more internal memory.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) counts with a camera that's just as good as the camera in Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and although the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs and/or video in low-light environments and a smaller sensor taking worse quality photos, they both have the same (4K) video quality, a 12 MP resolution back camera and the same 30 fps video frame rates.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M2) features a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.
