Comparison review

The Galaxy Note Fan Edition is slightly better than Galaxy Alpha, with an 80.4 score against 76.3. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition design is thicker and incredibly heavier than the Galaxy Alpha. Galaxy Alpha counts with a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores , it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor.

The Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a little bit better display than Galaxy Alpha, because it has a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2560, a bigger screen and a much better amount of pixels per inch of display. Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, a 12 mega pixels camera in the back and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has a way bigger aperture.

Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a superior memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Alpha, because it has an external SD slot that admits up to 256 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a much better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Alpha, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Alpha, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Alpha. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Galaxy Alpha, and give up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
