Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a general score of 94.6, which is better than Galaxy Note Fan Edition's general score of 80.4. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a much newer and thinner cellphone than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, although it's a lot heavier. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Z Fold 2, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a higher quantity of pixels per screen inch.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 has a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 also has 8 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy Z Fold 2 shoots clearer photos and videos than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking images or video in low light situations, and they both have the same video quality and the same resolution back camera, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 also counts with faster video frame rates and a much larger back-facing camera sensor shooting way higher quality pictures.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a superior storage capacity for applications and games than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. The Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a much better battery performance than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity instead of 3200mAh.
Although Galaxy Z Fold 2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Note Fan Edition. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Galaxy Note Fan Edition, letting go a few features and specifications, but you will get the most with your money.
