Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a score of 80.4, which is slightly better than the Xperia Z5's 77.6 global score. The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a newer phone than Xperia Z5, but it is a bit heavier and just a bit thicker. Xperia Z5 features a slightly better display than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, although it has a bit smaller display, a way worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a quite lower pixels density.
Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a much bigger storage to install games and applications than Xperia Z5, because it has 32 GB more internal storage capacity and an external memory card slot that admits up to 256 GB. Sony Xperia Z5 has a little faster processor than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has lesser RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with a graphics processor.
Xperia Z5 takes much better photos and videos than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia Z5 also counts with a larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a camera in the back with lot more megapixels.
The Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Xperia Z5, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity instead of 2900mAh.
Although Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Xperia Z5, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xperia Z5. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Xperia Z5, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your money.
