The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a global score of 80.4, which is a bit better than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9's 76.6 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition is an a lot older device than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, but Samsung was able to build it lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a little better performance than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a little sharper display than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a higher display density and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution. The Galaxy Note Fan Edition has a bit more memory to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Note Fan Edition also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 256 GB.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 features a much better battery life than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity against 3200mAh. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 captures better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for taking photos or video in low light environments, and they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 also counts with a back camera with much more mega-pixels and a larger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Although Galaxy Note Fan Edition is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Xiaomi Redmi Note 9, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
