Xperia 5 is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note II, with a global score of 81 against 74.8. The Xperia 5 is a newer device, and it is also somewhat lighter and somewhat thinner than Samsung Galaxy Note II. Xperia 5's battery duration is just as good as the Galaxy Note II one, although the Xperia 5 also has 3140mAh of battery capacity instead of 3100mAh.
Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy Note II, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Samsung Galaxy Note II. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia 5, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Note II, letting go a couple features and specs.
