Comparison review
Xperia XZ3 has a global score of 79.6, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Note II's 74.8 global score. Both of these phones work with Android OS (Operating System), but Xperia XZ3 has newer 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy Note II has Android 4.4.2. Xperia XZ3 is a much newer phone than Samsung Galaxy Note II, although it is a bit heavier and just a little bit thicker.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 has a bit better CPU than Galaxy Note II, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a larger number of cores (and faster). Sony Xperia XZ3 has a more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Note II, because it has a lot higher pixels density, a quite bigger screen and a lot better 1440 x 2880 resolution.
Xperia XZ3 features a much better storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Note II, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Xperia XZ3 also has a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Sony Xperia XZ3 counts with a bit superior battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note II, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity instead of 3100mAh.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 has a very superior camera than Galaxy Note II, because it has a lot better 19 mega pixels resolution camera in the back and a lot better 3840x2160 video resolution.
Although Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Note II, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Note II. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia XZ3, else you can save some money and buy the Samsung Galaxy Note II, resigning some specifications.
