The Samsung Galaxy Note5 is a bit better than Galaxy Note7, getting an 80.2 score against 79.5. Samsung Galaxy Note5 is an older and just a bit heavier cellphone than the Galaxy Note7, but Samsung managed to build it a little thinner anyway. Samsung Galaxy Note5 features a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note7, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Note5 also has a larger number of cores.
Samsung Galaxy Note5 counts with a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy Note7. Both of them have a screen of the same size, the same 1440 x 2560 resolution and the same screen density. Galaxy Note7 features a superior memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Galaxy Note7 also has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 256 GB.
The Galaxy Note5 takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note7, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing less light and washed colors and a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Note5 also counts with a lot more megapixels back-facing camera.
Samsung Galaxy Note7 features just a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Note5, because it has a 17% greater battery capacity.
