Comparison review

The HTC Hero S has a general score of 55.8, which is much better than Galaxy Pocket's general score of 47.8. Although HTC Hero S and the Galaxy Pocket were released only 5 months apart, the HTC Hero S construction is extremely heavier but a little thinner than the Galaxy Pocket. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android operating system, but HTC Hero S has an older 2.3 version while Galaxy Pocket has Android 2.3.6 version.

The HTC Hero S counts with a better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Pocket, because it has a lot more pixels per display inch, a really bigger display and a much better 960 x 540 resolution. HTC Hero S counts with a slightly better memory for applications and games than Galaxy Pocket, and although they both have an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 32 GB, the HTC Hero S also has 4 GB internal memory.

The HTC Hero S features a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Pocket. Both of them have a Single-Core processor. HTC Hero S has superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Pocket, because it has a 1520mAh battery capacity against 1200mAh. The HTC Hero S captures greater pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Pocket, because it has a lot higher video resolution and a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels.

The HTC Hero S costs exactly the same than the Galaxy Pocket.
