Samsung Galaxy Pocket Review

Samsung Galaxy Pocket is a decently made device released back in 2012, counting with a 2 mega-pixels back camera, a 2.8" display and a fast processor running at 832 megahertz.

Samsung equipped the Samsung Galaxy Pocket with a powerful CPU clocking at 832 MHz. This phone has a fair 3 GB internal storage memory, which is fine having that it also has an SD extension slot to store photographs and videos.

Even though the Pocket is as big as 4.08 inches long, it only contains a much smaller 2.8 inches display. This phone isn't very light comparing to other cellphones , weighting 3.42 ounces.

The Pocket only has a 2 MP back facing camera. It also captures videos in QVGA 320x240 at 15 frames per second. The camera also counts with smile detection shooting and geo tagging.

This cellphone is equipped with an average 320 x 240 (QVGA) 2.8 inches screen, giving this cellphone a mid level graphic quality. This screen uses TFT capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.

This cellphone has a 1200 mAh low capacity Li-Ion battery that provides this phone a not very long battery life comparing with other similar devices. This device has an estimated talk time of 15.8 hs and a stand by time of 520 hs according to Samsung.

The Pocket has WiFi capability (although it can't share it with other devices around, acting as a hotspot) and fast 3G internet connection, over HSDPA, UMTS and EDGE technologies. This phone uses a SIM card to use GSM services.

This phone also comes with a couple of cool characteristics like Bluetooth (for communication with other phones and accessories) and GPS Localization, and a few sensors likeAccelerometer and Compass.

Samsung sells this phone for 80 dollars, which is not a really offer for comparing with similar phones.
