Galaxy S III is much better than the LG Spectrum, having a overall score of 70.8 against 60.2. The Galaxy S III is a just a little bit lighter and thinner device than the LG Spectrum, even when both were released with only a few months difference. Both of these devices come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy S III has 4.1.2 version while LG Spectrum has Android 4.0.4 version, giving you a couple nice extra features and performance enhancements.
LG Spectrum has just a bit better display than Galaxy S III, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact 1280 x 720 resolution, the LG Spectrum also counts with a quite better screen pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy S III features just a little better processing power than LG Spectrum, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Samsung Galaxy S III also has a graphics co-processor and a greater amount of RAM.
Galaxy S III features a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than LG Spectrum, because it has 12 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB. Galaxy S III features just a bit better battery lifetime than LG Spectrum, because it has 2100mAh of battery capacity.
The Galaxy S III captures better photographs and videos than LG Spectrum, although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low-light photography, they both have the same (Full HD) video resolution, the same video frame rate and a same resolution back camera.
Even being the best phone of the ones we are comparing here, Samsung Galaxy S III is also cheap compared to the LG Spectrum.
