Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy S10 is slightly better than Samsung Galaxy A71, with a global score of 88.3 against 87.5. The Samsung Galaxy S10 is an older and just a little thicker phone than Samsung Galaxy A71, but Samsung was able to make it lighter anyway. Both phones in this review use the same Android 11 operating system.

The Samsung Galaxy S10 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Samsung Galaxy A71, and although they both have 8 cores, the Samsung Galaxy S10 also has 2 GB more RAM. The Galaxy S10 features a sharper screen than Galaxy A71, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a greater display pixels density and a better 1440 x 3040 resolution.

The Galaxy A71 counts with as much memory capacity for games and applications as the Samsung Galaxy S10 one, both of them have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory and a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. Samsung Galaxy A71 counts with longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy S10, because it has a 4500mAh battery size against 3400mAh.

Galaxy A71 shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S10, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for low light captures and worse 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have the same video quality, the Galaxy A71 also counts with a much larger sensor which offers a much better image and video quality and a much more mega-pixels camera in the back.

Even being the best phone in our comparison, Galaxy S10 is also a lot cheaper, which makes it an obvious call.
