The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is much better than the Samsung Galaxy A42, getting a 98 score against 87. The Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is a better phone than Samsung Galaxy A42, it must be noted that it's also heavier and just a little bit thicker. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a more recent 13 version while Samsung Galaxy A42 has Android 11, so it gives you some additional features and better performance.
Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G counts with a little better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G also has a larger amount of RAM. Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G features a way better display than Galaxy A42, because it has a bit larger screen, a way better resolution of 1440 x 3200 and a lot higher screen density.
The Galaxy A42 counts with as much storage to install applications and games as the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, both have a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1000 GB and the same internal storage. Samsung Galaxy A42's battery life is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G one. The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy A42, and although they both have a same size aperture, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G also has a lot higher video quality and a way more mega-pixels back camera.
