The Galaxy S22 is way better than the HTC One M9, having a overall score of 93.4 against 77.7. Galaxy S22's design is a lot newer and noticeably thinner, but a little bit heavier than HTC One M9. Both phones in this comparison come with Android OS, but Galaxy S22 has a newer 13 version and HTC One M9 has Android 5.0, so it counts with some extra features and performance enhancements.

Galaxy S22 features a little more vivid display than HTC One M9, because although it has a little bit worse pixel number in each inch in the screen, it also counts with a quite better 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution and a larger display. The Galaxy S22 features much more memory for games and applications than HTC One M9, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory capacity.

The HTC One M9 features a bit better processing unit than Galaxy S22, because although it has less RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the HTC One M9 also counts with a 64 bits CPU and an additional graphics co-processor. Galaxy S22 has a greater camera than HTC One M9, because it has a much bigger back camera sensor shooting way higher quality photos and videos, a camera in the back with a way better resolution, a lot higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a larger aperture to capture better images and videos in low-light situations.

Galaxy S22 counts with better battery lifetime than HTC One M9, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity.

Although Galaxy S22 is a better device, it is way more expensive than HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the HTC One M9. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Galaxy S22, else you can save some money and get the HTC One M9, giving up a couple specifications.
