Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S22 is much better than the Samsung Galaxy S8, with a 93.4 score against 81.7. Although the Samsung Galaxy S22 is a bit heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S8, it's a bit thinner and way newer. Samsung Galaxy S22 features a brighter display than Galaxy S8, because although it has a lot lower 1080 x 2340px resolution and a way lower display density, it also counts with a quite bigger display.
Galaxy S22 features a bit superior processor than Samsung Galaxy S8, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Galaxy S22 also has 4 GB more RAM memory. Galaxy S22 takes much better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy S8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for low light captures and video, it also counts with a way higher resolution camera in the back, a lot bigger sensor and a lot higher video definition.
Galaxy S8 has a bit bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S22, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Samsung Galaxy S22 counts with improved battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S8, because it has a 3700mAh battery size instead of 3000mAh.
Although Galaxy S22 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Samsung Galaxy S8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy S8. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy S8, and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
