The Galaxy J8 has a score of 76.7, which is just a bit better than Galaxy S4 Active's global score of 71.7. Although the Galaxy J8 is somewhat heavier than the Galaxy S4 Active, it's somewhat thinner and noticeably newer. These phones include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy J8 has 10 version while Galaxy S4 Active has Android 4.4, so it provides the user a couple additional features and better performance.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active counts with a lot better display than Samsung Galaxy J8, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher count of pixels per display inch and a higher resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The Samsung Galaxy J8 has a way bigger memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 256 GB and 48 GB more internal memory.
Galaxy J8 features a processing unit that's just as good as Galaxy S4 Active's CPU, because although the Galaxy J8 has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with more cpu cores (but slower) and a higher amount of RAM memory. Galaxy J8 features improved battery performance than Galaxy S4 Active, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity instead of 2600mAh.
Samsung Galaxy J8 captures much better photographs and videos than Galaxy S4 Active, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same video frame rate, the Samsung Galaxy J8 also has a way more mega-pixels back-facing camera.
