The Galaxy M30 has a score of 82.4, which is better than the Galaxy S4 Active's 71.7 global score. Both phones in this review work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy M30 has 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy S4 Active has Android 4.4 version. The Galaxy M30 is a noticeably newer and a little bit thinner device than the Galaxy S4 Active, but it is heavier.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active features a much better screen than Galaxy M30, because although it has a quite lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch in the screen. The Samsung Galaxy M30 has a superior storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S4 Active, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 512 GB.
Samsung Galaxy M30 has a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with 4 GB more RAM and a greater number of cores (but slower). The Samsung Galaxy M30 captures much better photos and videos than Galaxy S4 Active, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution, the Samsung Galaxy M30 also has a back-facing camera with a much higher 13 MP resolution.
