The Galaxy S5 has a global score of 80.8, which is slightly better than the Huawei nova 5T's global score of 80.8. These phones come with Android OS, but the Galaxy S5 has the newer 4.4.2 version and Huawei nova 5T has Android 10. The Galaxy S5 is a incredibly older and just a little thicker device than Huawei nova 5T, but Samsung managed to build it lighter anyway.
The Galaxy S5 counts with a more vivid display than Huawei nova 5T, because although it has a quite lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a little smaller screen, it also counts with a better pixels number in each display inch. Huawei nova 5T and Galaxy S5 have quite similar processing units, because although the Huawei nova 5T has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with a larger amount of RAM memory and a larger number of faster cores.
The Huawei nova 5T has a much bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S5, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory.
