Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy S5 has an overall score of 80.8, which is just a bit better than the LG G3's general score of 76.4. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy S5 has the older 4.4.2 version and LG G3 has Android 5.0 version. Although the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the LG G3 were released with only a few months difference, the Samsung Galaxy S5 is just a little thinner and a little bit lighter.

LG G3 has a bit more vivid display than Galaxy S5, because although it has a little bit inferior pixels amount in each inch in the screen, it also counts with a little bit larger screen and a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution. The LG G3's storage capacity for apps and games is just as good as Galaxy S5's one, they have an external memory card slot that supports up to 128 GB and equal 32 GB internal memory.

LG G3 features a CPU that is just as good as the Samsung Galaxy S5 one, and although the LG G3 has a worse 450 MHz graphics co-processor, they both have 3 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores. The Galaxy S5 captures a little bit better photographs and videos than LG G3, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy S5 also has a higher resolution back facing camera, a bigger back camera sensor which gives a higher image and video quality and a larger aperture to take better low-light photos.

LG G3 has just a bit better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a 7 percent bigger battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy S5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the LG G3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as LG G3. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S5, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the LG G3, giving up some specifications.
