The Xperia 10 III has a global score of 83.7, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S5's 80.8 global score. Both phones in our current comparison work with Android OS (operating system), but Xperia 10 III has 11 version and Samsung Galaxy S5 has Android 4.4.2. The Xperia 10 III is a noticeably newer cellphone than Samsung Galaxy S5, but it's just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier.

The Galaxy S5 counts with a brighter display than Sony Xperia 10 III, because although it has a bit worse 1920 x 1080 resolution and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a better amount of pixels per inch of display. Xperia 10 III features a much better storage for applications and games than Galaxy S5, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that holds a maximum of 1 TB.

Galaxy S5 has a bit faster processor than Xperia 10 III, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and 4 lesser cores (although they are faster), it also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. Galaxy S5 features just a bit better camera than Xperia 10 III, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low light images and videos, and they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy S5 also counts with a lot higher resolution camera and a larger back-facing camera sensor shooting higher quality photographs and videos.

The Sony Xperia 10 III has a superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S5, because it has a 4500mAh battery size.
