The iPhone 8 is much better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, getting an 85 score against 75.6. The iPhone 8 design is noticeably newer, lighter and somewhat thinner than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active. IPhone 8 has a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, and they both have a 2 GB RAM, the iPhone 8 also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and a greater number of cores.
Samsung Galaxy S5 Active counts with a better looking display than iPhone 8, because it has more pixels per screen inch, a way higher 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a quite larger display. IPhone 8 has a better camera than Galaxy S5 Active, although it has a back facing camera with lot less mega pixels resolution and a lower (4K) video definition.
The iPhone 8 features a superior storage for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal memory. The Galaxy S5 Active counts with a much longer battery life than iPhone 8, because it has 2800mAh of battery capacity against 1821mAh.
