The Google Nexus 6P has a general score of 80.3, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active's 75.6 score. Even though Google Nexus 6P is just a little bit heavier than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, it's somewhat thinner and newer. Galaxy S5 Active has a little sharper display than Google Nexus 6P, although it has a way worse 1920 x 1080px resolution, a little smaller screen and a just a bit worse pixel density.
Google Nexus 6P has a way bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy S5 Active, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Galaxy S5 Active counts with just a little better processing power than Google Nexus 6P, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory and a lower number of cores (but faster), it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit.

Although Google Nexus 6P is a better device, it costs a lot more than Galaxy S5 Active, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S5 Active. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Google Nexus 6P, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy S5 Active, resigning a couple specs and features.
