Comparison review
The Galaxy Note9 is much better than the Galaxy S5 Active, getting an 87.1 score against 75.6. Galaxy Note9 is a heavier device than Galaxy S5 Active, but both have the same thickness. The Galaxy Note9 counts with a bit faster CPU than Galaxy S5 Active, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with 4 more processing cores and 4 GB more RAM.
Galaxy S5 Active features just a bit better screen than Galaxy Note9, although it has a little worse amount of pixels per inch of display, a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 and a much smaller screen. Galaxy Note9 features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, because it has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory.
The Galaxy Note9 has a much better battery life than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity. Galaxy Note9 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S5 Active, although it has a way less MP back-facing camera and a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, but it's still a great choice, because you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
