The Sony Xperia XZ3 is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, having a overall score of 79.6 against 75.6. Both of these devices come with Android operating system, but Sony Xperia XZ3 has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy S5 Active has Android 4.4.4 version, giving you some extra features. The Sony Xperia XZ3 is a noticeably newer phone than Samsung Galaxy S5 Active, but it's somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier.
