Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is just a bit better than the Honor 50 Pro, with a score of 78.1 against 77. Despite of the fact Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is incredibly older and just a bit thicker than Honor 50 Pro, it's design is still noticeably lighter. Both of these phones use Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has the newer 4.4.2 version and Honor 50 Pro has Android 11.
The Honor 50 Pro features a little better performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with more RAM memory and 4 more processing cores. Galaxy S5 Plus has a bit better screen than Honor 50 Pro, although it has a much lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, a just a little worse pixels quantity per screen inch and a really smaller display.
The Honor 50 Pro has a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. The Honor 50 Pro has a greater camera than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same (4K) video quality, the Honor 50 Pro also has a bigger camera aperture for better photography and video in low-light environments and a much more megapixels back facing camera.
Honor 50 Pro features a much better battery lifetime than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 43 percent larger battery size.
