Comparison review
Huawei Mate X2 has a score of 89.1, which is much better than Galaxy S5 Plus's 78.1 general score. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei Mate X2 has the previous 10 version while Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2. The Huawei Mate X2 is a a lot heavier phone than the Galaxy S5 Plus, but both are equally thin.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has a little sharper screen than Huawei Mate X2, because although it has a lot lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and a way smaller display, it also counts with a little bit better number of pixels per inch of screen. Huawei Mate X2 counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, it also counts with a higher number of cores (and faster) and a higher amount of RAM memory.
Huawei Mate X2 has much more memory for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate X2 takes much clearer photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Huawei Mate X2 also has a larger camera aperture and a camera in the back with a way better 50 megapixels resolution.
Huawei Mate X2 features a way better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 2800mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy S5 Plus. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Huawei Mate X2, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Galaxy S5 Plus, resigning a couple specs and features.
