Huawei P10 Plus has an overall score of 79.8, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's 78.1 general score. Even though the Huawei P10 Plus is somewhat heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, it's thinner and noticeably newer. Huawei P10 Plus has a processing unit that is just as good as the processing unit in Galaxy S5 Plus, because although the Huawei P10 Plus has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with more CPU cores (although they are slower) and a greater amount of RAM memory.
Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a bit sharper screen than Huawei P10 Plus, although it has a little lower screen pixels density, a little bit smaller screen and a much lower resolution of 1920 x 1080px. The Huawei P10 Plus features a much bigger storage to install applications and games than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 256 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity.
Galaxy S5 Plus shoots a bit better videos and photos than Huawei P10 Plus, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for low-light images and videos, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same (4K) video definition, the Galaxy S5 Plus also counts with a back facing camera with lot more megapixels.
The Huawei P10 Plus counts with greater battery life than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 3750mAh of battery capacity.
