Comparison review
Huawei P20 Pro is a little bit better than Galaxy S5 Plus, with an 81.4 score against 78.1. Both phones in this comparison review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Huawei P20 Pro has the previous 10 version and Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2. The Huawei P20 Pro construction is notably newer and just a bit thinner, but also somewhat heavier than Galaxy S5 Plus.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus and the Huawei P20 Pro both feature similar CPUs, because although the Huawei P20 Pro has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and a larger number of cores (although they are slower). Galaxy S5 Plus has a brighter screen than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has a quite lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a little bit greater display density.
Huawei P20 Pro features a much better camera than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have the same (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a camera with way more mega-pixels, a way bigger sensor capturing much higher quality photographs and a larger aperture.
Huawei P20 Pro features a superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Huawei P20 Pro counts with a much longer battery life than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 4000mAh battery size.
Although Huawei P20 Pro is a better device, it costs more than Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy S5 Plus. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Galaxy S5 Plus, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
