The LG V30S ThinQ has a global score of 82.5, which is slightly better than the Galaxy S5 Plus's 78.1 global score. The LG V30S ThinQ construction is a lot newer and a little bit thinner, but just a little heavier than Galaxy S5 Plus. These phones have Android operating system, but the LG V30S ThinQ has newer 8.0 Oreo version and Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2 version.

Galaxy S5 Plus features a bit better looking screen than LG V30S ThinQ, although it has a way lower resolution of 1920 x 1080, a bit lower display density and a little bit smaller display. The LG V30S ThinQ features a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has an external memory slot that supports up to 1,95 TB and more internal memory.

LG V30S ThinQ has a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores and more RAM memory. LG V30S ThinQ has better battery duration than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity.

LG V30S ThinQ shoots clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor which gives a worse photo and video quality, and they both have a back-facing camera with a 16 mega pixels, the same video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with a lot larger aperture.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy S5 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Galaxy S5 Plus. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Galaxy S5 Plus, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
