The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is a bit better than the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, having a general score of 78.1 against 77. Despite of the fact the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus is noticeably older and a little bit thicker than the Motorola Edge 40 Neo, it's construction is still somewhat lighter. These phones work with Android operating system, but the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has 4.4.2 version while Motorola Edge 40 Neo has Android 13 version, offering a lot of extra features and better performance.

The Motorola Edge 40 Neo counts with a much bigger memory to install applications and games than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 112 GB more internal memory capacity. Motorola Edge 40 Neo counts with a superior battery life than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 79 percent bigger battery size.
