Both of these phones come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has the newer 4.4.2 version while Moto G7 Plus has Android 10 version, so it provides the user a couple additional features and some performance improvements. The Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus design is a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter than the Moto G7 Plus, despite of the fact that it was released many years before.

Galaxy S5 Plus has a much better display than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because although it has a little smaller display and a little bit worse resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, it also counts with a quite greater pixels density. The Moto G7 Plus features a way bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and more internal storage.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Motorola Moto G7 Plus, because although it has an inferior number of cores and 2 GB less RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. The Motorola Moto G7 Plus counts with a bit longer battery duration than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a 3000mAh battery size.

Motorola Moto G7 Plus features just a bit better camera than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the same video frame rates, a same resolution camera and a 0.38 inches sensor, the Motorola Moto G7 Plus also has a way bigger aperture to take better low light captures and video.
