The Xperia 1 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy S5 Plus, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores and more RAM memory.

The Xperia 1 counts with a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has a SD card slot that allows up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity.
