Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a score of 81.1, which is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus's 78.1 general score. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's design is noticeably newer, but a little thicker and a lot heavier than the Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has an older 10 version while Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus has Android 4.4.2 version.
Galaxy S5 Plus counts with a more vivid screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, because although it has a way smaller screen and a quite lower 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, it also counts with a little higher display pixel density. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro's processing unit is just as good as the processor in Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with 4 GB more RAM and more cores. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a really longer battery lifetime than Galaxy S5 Plus, because it has 5020mAh of battery capacity.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro features a greater camera than Galaxy S5 Plus, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a larger aperture to take better low light photography, a much better 64 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and a lot larger back camera sensor taking way higher quality pictures.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is more expensive than the Galaxy S5 Plus, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
