Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy S6 has a score of 85.1, which is better than the LG G5's 76.1 global score. Samsung Galaxy S6's design is just a little bit thinner and lighter than LG G5, even though it was released a little bit further than a year before. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy S6 has the previous 5.0 version while LG G5 has Android 8.0 Oreo version.
Galaxy S6 features a brighter screen than LG G5, because although it has a little bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 2560 x 1440px resolution, the Galaxy S6 also counts with a just a bit higher pixel quantity in each inch of display. The LG G5 has a much better memory capacity to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S6, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with an external SD slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Galaxy S6 has a quite superior processing power than LG G5, because although it has lesser RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit, 4 more cores and a GPU. LG G5 and Galaxy S6 both have similar cameras, and although the LG G5 has a bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light photography and videos, they both have a same size camera sensor, the same video frame rate, a back camera with a 16 mega pixels and the same video quality.
LG G5 has just a bit better battery performance than Galaxy S6, because it has a 10 percent larger battery size.
Samsung Galaxy S6 and the LG G5 cost the same, which makes this phone an easy choice.
