Comparison review
The Galaxy Note 4 has a general score of 81.6, which is slightly better than Galaxy S6 Active's 80.9 overall score. Both of these phones use the same Android 5.0 OS. Samsung Galaxy S6 Active features a bit superior CPU than Galaxy Note 4, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also has a higher number of cores (although they are slower), a 64-bits processing unit and a better graphics processor.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Active has a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because although it has a quite smaller display, and they both have exactly the same 2560 x 1440 resolution, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a little higher pixels count per display inch. The Galaxy Note 4 shoots better photographs and videos than Galaxy S6 Active, although it has a tinier camera aperture which is worse for low-light images, they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, a 16 MP resolution back facing camera, a same size back camera sensor and the same video frame rates.
Galaxy Note 4 features a lot bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Active. They have equal internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S6 Active counts with just a bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note 4, because it has a 3500mAh battery capacity instead of 3220mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is a better device, it costs a little more money than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. If you want to save some money, you can get Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
