Comparison review
The Galaxy Note Edge has a score of 81.7, which is just a bit better than Galaxy S6 Active's general score of 80.9. Both of these phones have the same Android 5.0 OS (Operating System), so you shouldn't see any difference regarding that. Galaxy S6 Active counts with a little bit better performance than Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Galaxy S6 Active also has more processing cores , a much better 650 MHz graphics co-processor and a 64-bit processing unit.
The Galaxy S6 Active features a little more vivid display than Galaxy Note Edge, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 2560 x 1440px, the Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch of screen. Galaxy Note Edge shoots much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy S6 Active, although it has a tinier aperture, they both have a same size sensor, the same video frame rate, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a back-facing camera with a 16 MP.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge counts with a much bigger storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. Both of them have the same internal memory capacity. The Galaxy S6 Active features a little better battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 3500mAh battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is a better device, it costs more than the Galaxy S6 Active, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S6 Active. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Galaxy S6 Active, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
