The LG Velvet has an overall score of 87.1, which is slightly better than the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge's 85.7 overall score. LG Velvet's design is a lot newer than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge's, but it is heavier and just a little bit thicker. Galaxy S6 Edge has a way better display than LG Velvet, because although it has a way smaller display, it also counts with a greater pixels count per inch in the screen and a slightly better resolution of 2560 x 1440px.

Galaxy S6 Edge has a bit better processing unit than LG Velvet, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, and they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy S6 Edge also counts with a 64-bit processing unit and an extra graphics processing unit. The LG Velvet shoots much clearer photos and videos than Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rates, the LG Velvet also has a larger aperture for better captures and video in low-light situations, a lot larger back camera sensor providing a much better image quality and a lot more MP back facing camera.

LG Velvet counts with a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal storage, the LG Velvet also has a SD card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. LG Velvet features a very superior battery performance than Galaxy S6 Edge, because it has a 65 percent bigger battery size.

Despite of being the best phone of the ones we compare here, the LG Velvet is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes it a great choice.
